Originally assembled on April 25, 1979, this 1979 Corvette is in nice condition. This cars paint is in good to very good condition, with a blinding shine. Glass t-tops are in very good condition with no cracks. Weatherstripping looks to be slightly older, and is in good condition> taillights look to be new or recent, and are in excellent condition with no typical fading or cracking. Exterior door handles look to be older or original, and are in good condition with no functional issues. Added slotted aluminum wheels are vg with vg-exc center caps, and wear a set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires, which show an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1979 Corvette shows BRAND NEW seat covers, and a good condition center console. Gauges are in very good condition with clear lenses and no fading, and the door panels are in very good condition as well. Door panel armrests look to be older or original. Dash pad is in good to very good condition with no cracks or obvious waves. GM seatbelts are present, and in good condition, and a Kenwood KDC-152 CD/MP3 stereo with front input has been added in place of the factory unit. Other interior additions include L-82 ashtray plaque, Corvette script door sill plates, center console armrest pad, and a parking brake cupholder. Correct style cutpile carpet looks to be older, and is in good condition. The numbers matching engine in this 1979 Corvette shows original casting date April 2, 1979, and final assembly date April 20, 1979. Correct intake manifold and carburetor are in place. Other additions include include chrome valve covers, alternator, air cleaner lid, master cylinder cover, oil dipstick, and trans fluid dipstick, polished ignition shielding cover (in addition to the factory ignition shielding), Chevy bowtie air cleaner wingnut, L-82 hood badges, and L-82 lower air cleaner/ducts. Frame is solid and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
